Creating History, Experiencing Personal Growth
ACEA has faced the usual challenges this past year, but with the board’s help and guidance, the association is poised for growth and is in a strong position for the future. We keep innovating and introducing new ideas and programs. The Construction Expo was the best yet and will keep getting better. The dates for the Coffee Chats are quickly snapped up by members wanting to host these networking get-togethers. Similarly, the Symposium was the crown-jewel in our event lineup this year. The new venue was a great choice by the committee and the session line-up was excellent. I hope you will take a page out of my book and get involved. The opportunity is there and we make it easy to participate. Committees meet at the ACEA office over lunch. There is also a remote option, but really, the best networking happens face-to-face. Get outside of your comfort zone. Believe me, I know it is not always comfortable, but you will be so glad once you see how many new friendships you made in a single year. I am amazed and humbled. Thank you for the opportunity to serve. -Garrett Shepperd ACEA Board President Fuquay, Inc Comments are closed.
