ACEA Reintroduces Long-Dormant EventACEA hosted the first clay shoot in over a decade on August 23, 2024 at Reunion Ranch in Georgetown. The last time ACEA hosted a clay shoot was in 2010. Reviving this event has been a few years in the making.
The clay shoot would not have happened without the help of the seven committee members, led by chair Jonathan Fleming of KTCivil. The committee members offered their expertise and advice throughout the planning process. The team slots filled up quickly confirming that members do indeed enjoy this type of event and would like to continue to attend again. ACEA Members Undeterred from Having a Good Time
Following a week of temperatures in the 80s, ACEA members showed up at Star Ranch Golf Club on July 29th for the Summer Classic Golf Tournament. This began a week of increasingly hot weather, but our golfers teams would not be distracted from reaching the top of the leaderboard.

The books are closed on the 2024 Symposium and the Committee could not be happier with the results. The pre-registration numbers were back to pre-pandemic levels and the new AT&T Conference Center location breathed a new sense of excitement to the event. Conversation flowed between sessions while others found a few minutes to sit, get a relaxing chair massage, or even get a professional headshot.
