This program is all about bringing the designers out to the field for first hand experiences on how things are really done and help communications between the contractors and engineers.

Contractors, here’s your chance to show designers what really happens in the field! Be part of this new Field Opps program! Just email or call Lisa or Michele at the office and request your company be added to the participating contractors list.

In efforts to provide practical training and learning opportunities for our members we offer this page for our associate members who offer tours of their facilities to be listed. Email Lisa or Michele at the office and request your company be added to the below list. Interested members may contact you for details on visiting your facilities.
Here’s how it works
- A list of participating contractors are listed below
- Contact a contractor and coordinate the field visit
- Email the ACEA office seeking to observe a specific process
- The required Liability Release form* is below
- The list of required personal equipment is list within the Liability Release form
- Proof of safety training is required (contact the office for a short safety training video, if needed)
* The Liability Release form serves as a standard assumption of risk, release, and indemnification agreement, which holds the observer responsible for following all OSHA and contractor specific safety rules. Provide this form to the contractor that you are meeting.

We hope that this program takes off, so we can start seeing the ACEA Contractors and Engineers working as a team and producing even better quality plan sets and projects than we already are.
